Description

The tour begins at the Second Baptist Church who participated in the underground railroad. There is Joe Louis's Monument known as "The Fist" along the way, and Joe Louis arena home to the Detroit Red wings.The Gateway to Freedom is also featured. Charles H. Wright Museum of African American history is a great site. If you like baseball Mack Park home to Detroit's Negro Baseball league team is on the tour. Check out the sites and enjoy the African American history.
