Introduction
Text-to-speech Audio
Designed by the Architect James Eppenstein in 1937 and 38 as his own personal residence. He reconstructed the standing house into the International Style adapted to an urban townhouse. The main entry was moved to lower level and was sheathed in granite. It is now accessed by a staircase with stainless steel handrails. The original house was a romanesque townhouse.
