This visitor center is the headquarters of Bull Shoals-White River State Park. Inside, there are exhibits that explore the history of the area as well as information about the popularity of fishing in Bull Shoals Lake and the White River (this area is known for its trout fishing). There is also an observation tower, audiovisual theater, and a giftshop. The main attraction of the park is the dam built in 1951, which created the lake. The visitor center is located on a highpoint overlooking the dam, the lake, and the river.
