Located in Joe Brigance Memorial Park, the Chickasaw County Heritage Museum showcases the agricultural and cultural heritage of the county. It features a genealogical research library and an agriculture exhibit building. Additionally, there is a historical marker in front of the museum that describes the life of the great blues slide guitarist Booker "Bukka" T. Washington White, who was born her in Houston. He was a great influence on his more famous cousin B.B. King. The museum is operated by the Chickasaw County Historical & Genealogical Society.
