Located at the Clemson University Edisto Research Station, the Agriculture Heritage Museum is an interactive learning center that highlights the history of agriculture and its importance to the state of South Carolina. Agriculture has been highly influential, both historically and culturally, to the Palmetto state, and at the museum, visitors can learn about the past and future of agriculture and its influence and impact on local farmers through various exhibits. Current exhibits focus on the significance of agriculture in the South Carolina counties of Aiken, Bamburg, Barnwell, and Orangeburg, as well as rural farming life.
