This unique museum preserves mechanical equipment used in agricultural and rural communities from 1849 to the 1960s. Opened in 1976, the museum offers various exhibits, programs, activities and demonstrations for visitors to understand how people used these machines make a living in the countryside.

The collection of steam tractor engines, steam engines, gas engines, and gas and diesel tractors are still woking today, thanks to the their continued maintenance. The museum also features a Blacksmith's shop, a recreated farmhouse and parlor, and a short track model railroad.
