The Brooks County Historical Museum and Cultural Center is a local museum featuring artifacts related to the county's history. The center also serves as a meeting and educational gathering place. It is located in an old library that was built in 1933. When the city decided to close the library, a group of thirteen civic clubs formed Quitman Clubs, Inc. to save the library and open to the museum.
