The Hudson Highlands Nature Center is dedicated to environmental education and the promotion of nature. Founded in 1959, the museum is comprised of two parts: the Outdoor Discovery Center and the Wildlife Education Center. The museum provides all kinds of educational programs for people of all ages. Live animals are housed in the Wildlife Education Center and there are hiking trails at the Outdoor Discovery Center.
