The Comporium Telephone Company Museum takes visitors through the history of communication and “life in Rock Hill before we had wireline and wireless telecommunications, high-speed Internet, security, or cable TV, and tells of the beginnings of Rock Hill Telephone Company (now Comporium)” (“Telephone Museum”). Through the museum’s exhibits, visitors also learn about telephone companies, including positions and what it takes to run a company/facility smoothly. The museum also offers scheduled tour for school groups and day cares.
