The Wren's Nest
The Wren's Nest was the home of Joel Chandler Harris from 1881-1908. Harris served as an editor and columnnist for the Atlanta Constitution newspaper and is most known as the author of the "Uncle Remus" tales. The Wren's Nest is Atlanta's oldest house museum and seeks to preserve both the legacy of Joel Chandler Harris and African American Folklore.
