At the Arkansas Koran War Veterans Memorial, the names of the 461 Arkansas soldiers who were killed in battle are engraved on Black granite panels. These panels surround 7 feet tall statues of combat soldiers and Korean children. The panels also provide information about the war and explain the symbolism behind the statues. What perhaps makes this one of the most unique war memorials in the United States is that the Republic of Korea provided the money for the memorial.
