It advocates music as a means for cultural enrichment and preserves the country's musical heritage. It achieves these goals through special exhibitions, innovative concerts, and various educational programs. The museum's exhibits are organized chronologically, featuring historic milestones and the evolution of instruments used over time. Hundreds of vintage instruments are housed at the museum, the exhibits feature audio and video clips, and special exhibits are offered twice a year. Music presentations and workshops with local, national, and international musicians are also offered.
