Sachsenhausen-Oranienburg concentration camp was built during the summer of 1936 in Oranienburg, Germany, and used until 1945.
Durning, the operations of Sachsenhen over 200,000 were tortured and killed. Sachsenhausen was famously known for its brutal torture methods and unusual public lessons. Many were publicly executed to show an example of the result of even thinking of disobeying and or trying to escape. The punishments didn't get any better; Many were forced to squat with their arms out in front of them; called the "Sachsenhausen salute."
The experiments included lethal mustard gas being sprayed over the imprisoner, tearing through the skin, which would affect the subject greatly alongside the poor living conditions of the camp, leading to their painful death.
