The premiere local history museum in the region, the Allen County Museum is located in a large modern facility and offers dozens of exhibits and galleries. In addition to the main county museum and the Children's Discovery Center, the museum administers the John H. Keller Railroad Archives, and the Elizabeth M. MacDonell Memorial Library. One of the museum highlights is a completely restored and functional Sherman tank from World War II.
