Museums, Galleries and Archives (Local and County Historical Societies, Museums, and Archives)

Located inside the former Madera County Courthouse is a small local history museum that is open to the public on weekends. The courthouse was built from local granite in 1900. Six years later, a fire destroyed the clock tower but it was later rebuilt.
