The Leake Mound site is a archaeological site located by the Etowah River in Cartersville, Georgia. The site occupation lasted from approximately 300 B.C. until 650 A.D. The site has three small earthen mounds and was a important center during the woodland period. An interpretive trail allows visitors to learn about the inhabitants of the site.
