Item 2 of 23

This Georgian Revival with elements of English Baraque was built in 1909 by William Seher and cost $15,000. Seher was known as one of the most prominent business men from Lorain and was a General Manager of Lorain Brewing Co., President of Lorain Crystal Ice Co., and the director of National Bank Commerce. The building features a porch made of heavy masonry ornamentation and Spanish tile roof. The structure began as a private residence then turned into Slattery Studio, a motion picture processing lab. The house is currently operating as the Chateau de Charleston, which is a Bed and Breakfast as well as an event space.
