Tulare County Historical Society Museum
Established in 1944, the Tulare County Historical Society preserves the history of Visalia and Tulare County through its archives, its efforts to preserve landmarks and historical buildings, and its museum. The museum opened in 1949 and is renowned for its collection of Native American baskets, 19th and 20th century agricultural implements, and artifacts from European-American pioneers.
The newest addition to the museum complex is the History of Farm Labor and Agriculture Museum
The Pioneer Village area contains this restored school house from the 19th century
