Lone Jack Civil War Museum

Located in the historic town of Lone Jack Missouri, this museum offers exhibits that interpret the battle that occurred here on August 16th 1862. The museum was built during the Civil War centennial- a period when the nation's attention turned to both history and interpretation of the war. The museum includes numerous exhibits and special programs during some of the weekends in the summer, as well as books and merchandise at the gift shop.
