Clemson Area African American Museum
This museum is located within the Calhoun Bridge Center in Clemson, SC. The Calhoun Bridge Center was the last all-black school in that particular area of Pickens County. Today the Center is home to not only the museum, but to the Clemson Child Development Center and the Arts Center of Clemson. Plans to create this museum began in 2002 and in August 2007 several community members came together to create the museum.The Clemson Area African American Museum is continually being updated and improved.
