The Vietnam War Museum of America, not yet built, will be located in Garden Grove, California. which has been home to thousands of immigrants that sought refuge there after the war.

The Vietnam War was arguably our most powerful and&nbsp;polarizing&nbsp;war in our nations history.&nbsp; To the thousands and thousands of lost lives, to what seemed like the endless and winless battles against the Vietcong, the Vietnam War sparks debate and thoughts from almost every history and military buff.&nbsp; <br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; North Vietnam, which was supported by communist countries such as the Soviet Union, was in a civil war with South Vietnam, which was supported by the United States. We were afraid they would be taken over by a communist regime and the soviet union was afraid we would lead them into a capitalist regime.&nbsp; We were afraid of the "Domino theory" which stated if one country fell to a communist regime many others would follow.&nbsp; <br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The fighting and the loss of life was horrendous.&nbsp;The loss of Vietnamese people was estimated between 800,000 and 3.1 million.&nbsp; The US lost almost 60,000 lives in the war.&nbsp;The Vietnam people were a fierce bunch and would simply not give up - no matter how badly we shelled their country.&nbsp; It was a long, brutal war that last from 1955 to 1975.&nbsp; <br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The Vietnam War Museum of American Foundation is a great museum and educational experince on maybe the most defining war in our nations military history.&nbsp; Nothing brings back more polarizing memories and discussion than the War in Vietnam.&nbsp; The Museum does a fantastic job displaying presentations and artifcats that will no doubt educate our youth as well as help our elders remember this incredible war and how it shaped us going forward. <br>

The Vietnam War was a very powerful was that left undeniable thoughts, memories and images planted in the minds of millions of people all over the globe.  The Vietnam War Museum of American Foundation is a fantastic resource for educational desires as well as recreational.  At one time, over a half a million US citizens were serving in the Vietnam War, so it touched many, many lives.  This museum does a fantastic job of bringing that time period back to life. Garden Grove, California is the perfect site for a museum on the Vietnam War, as it is home to thousands of immigrants that sought refuge there after the war.  Its a terrific place for people to go and learn and remember.
